A stranger with a full cart.
Two items, ₹1,499, and no idea who this is yet. This is the moment most Indian checkouts start asking for a form.
One tap for returning shoppers, and a risk score on every COD order. Zelly turns the two biggest leaks in Indian D2C — abandoned carts and returns to origin — into one flow you control.
A return to origin costs you the forward freight, the return freight, the packaging and the shelf time. It never arrives as a refund line — it shows up as margin that quietly went missing.
100 COD orders shipped
came back to origin — freight paid twice, stock back on the shelf weeks later.
100 COD orders shipped
came back, after risk scoring blocked the worst and prepaid nudges converted the rest.
−62% is the average reduction across orders scored by Zelly. Your mix of categories, cities and price points will move the number — work out your own with the RTO cost calculator.

The phone number resolves to a returning buyer with saved addresses. Nothing to retype, nothing to get wrong at 11pm on a phone.
Address quality, phone verification, buyer history and the return rate for 560095 collapse into one number. This order comes back at 12 out of 100.
Here is where the margin usually leaks. Zelly prices the risk, adds the COD fee, and offers to drop it if she pays now — at the exact moment it still changes her mind.
₹50 saved for her, a return avoided for you, and the outcome fed back into the score for the next order from that pincode.
Most Indian checkouts ask a returning customer to prove who they are all over again. Zelly already knows.
A phone number resolves to saved addresses and payment methods. Nothing to retype, nothing to misspell.
Address, delivery estimate and payment on a single mobile view. No page reloads between steps.
UPI intent opens the app the shopper already has open. Card details are passed straight to the payment provider — Zelly does not store them.
Before an order is scored, the address is. Zelly runs five checks on every one — in under half a second, while the shopper is still on the page.
saved addresses in the graph. That is how a half-typed line becomes a verified doorstep.

Nothing gets in the shopper's way. This order is where it landed.
Offer the COD fee waiver at the payment step, where it still changes the decision.
Ask for prepayment or an OTP confirmation before the parcel ever leaves.
You set the thresholds. Zelly shows you what each band would have done to last month's orders before you commit.
RTO Shield sits between a risky COD order and your warehouse. Move the threshold and watch what it would have done to a hundred real orders.
Modelled on the risk distribution Zelly sees across scored COD orders. Your own orders replace this the day you go live.
The same order, two endings. This is why a ₹50 waiver is cheap.

One integration, one settlement report. Failed attempts retry on a different route instead of dumping the customer back on the cart.

Yes. Zelly replaces the checkout step, not your storefront. You add one script tag, and your theme, product pages, catalogue and URLs stay exactly as they are. There is no migration and no content freeze.
A single number from 0 to 100 that estimates how likely an order is to come back undelivered. It is built from signals like phone verification, how precisely the address resolves, the buyer's order history with you, the return rate for that pincode, and how the cart value compares to your average. You see the score and the reasons behind it on every order.
No, and we would usually advise against it. COD is how a large share of India buys. The point of scoring is to keep COD available to the shoppers who will accept the parcel, and to steer only the risky orders toward prepaying. You set the thresholds for each band.
Prepaid orders settle to your registered bank account on a T+1 cycle. COD remittance follows the courier's collection cycle. Every payout has a line-item report you can reconcile against orders.
Pricing is usage-based on successful transactions, with no setup fee and no monthly platform charge to start. The rate depends on your volume and payment mix — talk to us and we will quote against your actual numbers.
They are averages we have measured across orders running through Zelly Checkout. They are not a promise for your store: category, price point, city mix and how aggressively you set your COD rules all move the result. Ask us for the range we have seen in your category.
Card details are passed straight to the payment provider and are not stored by Zelly or kept on your servers. Traffic is encrypted in transit, webhook payloads are signed so your backend can verify them, and your test and live keys are separate and revocable. Customer data belongs to you and is exportable at any time. Read the privacy policy for specifics, and our disclosure policy if you find a problem.
Add the script, set your COD rules, and watch the prepaid share move. You can be live before the day is out.
